Now there’s a leading question.
But seriously take a moment to reflect and ask it of yourself.
If you are truly honest the answer will be yes.
It will be yes because you are not making the most of the person that you are.
You are truly awesome.
But you could be even more.
Whoever you are, whatever you do, there are things in your life that you can do better than anyone else you know.
Those things come really easily to you.
In fact you could ‘do them with your eyes shut.’
People you know are envious of the ease with which you can do those things in your life that come easily to you.
And there lies the point. You stay within that comfort zone of what comes naturally to you.
Your success at doing those things provides the barrier that prevents you moving forward.
You stay doing what you know you can do.
On a good day you might venture into doing what you think you can do.
But ask yourself another question.
What is it that you really want to do?
There is a mistaken belief that coaching is only for dealing with problems.
No it isn’t.
It is about helping people make the most of themselves and be the best that they can.
Why do world class sports people have coaches? Because, they want to be even better.
However good you are at what you do. However successful you are at what you do you can be even better.
So take that time out and ask yourself the question. Are you a fraud?
If the answer is yes then the next question is:
What are you going to do about it?
Let me know your thoughts.
